You saw me from across the room, our eyes meeting for a brief moment. It was the first time in a month we had seen each other in person. I watched as you ran across the room, that crooked grin sprawled across your face. You picked me up off of the ground and hugged me. That moment was complete bliss and I just wanted to stay there forever. I couldn't contain my laughter as it spilled out from between my lips. I can't believe that was 24 hours ago. Now you want to talk to me because you heard there was another guy. My eyes are glassy with the tears dying to make rivulets down my face. There is no one else. You're the only guy that I like, the only one I feel like I could truly like. Please believe me. Please.
